Meet Your Coach
Hey Gang,
I’m passionate about this work we do because I know what it feels like to be lost. And I also know what it takes to find your way back.
I didn’t arrive at coaching through a straight line or a polished success story. I found it through confusion, struggle, discipline, and effort. I know what it’s like to drift like a ship with no port, to doubt myself more than believe, and to be forced to rebuild from the inside out.
For a long time, I believed something was wrong with me.
Eventually, I realized else was true.
Most people aren’t stuck because they don’t care or lack ability. They’re stuck because they start moving without ever stopping to think about where they’re actually headed.
Now, ask yourself a simple but uncomfortable question: Am I choosing my life or just reacting to it?
In a fast-paced culture that rarely slows down, I believe real growth begins with second-order thinking and an honest question: Am I living my life by design or by default?
That question changed everything for me, and it’s one I return to often in my work with clients.
My Beginnings
I’ve experienced loneliness early in life, and over time learned how to build genuine connection and community. I’ve seen how clarity, presence, and self-trust change not only how we move through our own lives but how we relate to others.
I went from nearly failing out of high school to now pursuing a doctoral degree at SCUHS. Along the way, I committed myself to practices that demand honesty and presence: 10-day silent Vipassana meditation retreats, backpacking trips to summit 14,000-foot peaks, and creative, embodied practices like fire dancing and flow arts. (And if you’re into chess, find me on chess.com!)
These experiences didn’t just shape my résumé, they shaped how I see the world.
Understanding the gap between what you “should” do and actually doing it is where we start. We’ll learn about how emotional state and identity patterns quietly shape our all of our choices. We understand that real change doesn’t come from hype-style advice; it comes from clarity, structure, and consistent follow-through.
What makes my coaching approach different is how depth is integrated with execution. I blend Neuro-Linguistic Programming tools such as the Meta-Model, state anchoring, and identity engineering with practical systems like Brian Moran’s 12-Week Year.
Together, we combine targeted questions (like the miracle question), identity and belief work, emotional State creation, and practical accountability frameworks to help you build sustainable momentum. You are the authority on your life, I simply help guide you towards the answers you already hold within yourself, clarify your values, make honest, heart-forward decisions, and move calmly with intention.
My commitment is simple: to meet you with honesty, depth, and structure, and to help you build a life that feels aligned, grounded, and genuinely yours.
Respectfully,
Coach Francis Power
